Our keynote speaker has been acclaimed by Essence Magazine as “one of the world’s preeminent psychologists and a pioneer in the development of an African-centered approach in modern psychology.” He has been interviewed on the “Oprah Winfrey Show,” “Tony Browns Journal,” “The Geraldo Show” and a wide variety of other national and local television programs. Significant articles about him have appeared in Essence Magazine, the Washington Post, Jet Magazine and a large number of local, national and international newspapers. As a recipient of literally scores of plaques and awards, Dr. Akbar is recognized as one of the greatest thinkers and orators of our time. He is currently on the faculty in the Department of Psychology at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where his work is not only required reading in the classes he teaches, but it is also required reading in the syllabi and Black Studies Courses in Colleges and Universities nationwide. Dr. Akbar will speak to The F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association’s William M. Holland Scholarship Luncheon attendees about the Educational Crisis in Black America.

Platinum--$1,500.00
Platinum Sponsors receive a full page ad in the program, name and logo will appear as our Platinum Sponsor on all materials printed in connection with the event and you can leave information about your organization on each seat of the attendees. You will also receive special acknowledgement at the event, premium seating and a table seating ten.
Gold--$1,000.00.
Gold Sponsors receive special acknowledgment at the event, a one half page ad in the program and have reserved seating for five.
Student--$750.00.
Student Sponsors receive one half page ad in the program, a reserved table for the attendance of ten local high school students chosen by committee members, the purchase of Dr. Akbar’s book, “Know Thy Self,” for the students in attendance, and special acknowledgement at the event.
