Lincoln Elementary School

As many of you are aware, CBA adopted Lincoln Elementary in Riviera Beach this school year.  During the fall months, we participated in school events, distributed Thanksgiving baskets, and collected toys for students in need.  Lincoln has provided CBA with an opportunity this Spring to work with students to make this year a success.  I have attached a list of the school’s needs and a PowerPoint presentation regarding their upcoming Black History Month program.  For Black History Month, the school is requesting donations of posters of famous African Americans, Black History t-shirts, African attire, and DVD or books documenting famous African Americans.  Most importantly, the school is looking for CBA members to read stories for each grade level every Monday during the month of February.  Please consider making a donation or volunteering to improve the educational opportunities for Lincoln students.
